Starlights and Diamonds

So, let's start of this log by saying that the Minutemen are doing fine. We started the trek to Diamond City as of today and we're pretty close, but not without a really interesting detour. 2 days ago, a girl named Lara from a place called "Starlight Drive-in" came to Sanctuary to ask for help regarding her friends getting kidnapped by remnants of Concord Raiders. Preston told me that this Starlight place has been a popular trading hub for years but closed 2 years ago after the Minutemen chose to stop helping with the place's security. Lara's friend was the owner of the place and she already died due to a raider attack. 2 of her sons are stuck at the basement of Starlight and waiting for help while Alice was abducted by the raiders. She chose to go after the raiders while telling the sons to stay in Starlight while she asks for help. She came to Sanctuary wounded, but she managed to drive them to Concord Speakeasy after a brutal firefight. 

Since the Sanctuary is pretty much well defended now, I took a Squad consisting of Ephfor, Tori and Preston to go after the raiders. We managed to rescue her friend Alice who willingly asked to join the Minutemen. She told us her story on the way back. She was supposed to join Colonel Hollis' company in Quincy only to hear the story of the massacre that happened months ago. After a brief period of recuperation at Sanctuary, Lara and Alice agreed to join the Minutemen. Alice stayed in Sanctuary to help out Sturges with the new defenses he's putting in place while Lara agreed to swear allegiance to the Minutemen by making Starlight one of our forward Settlements. We managed to rescue her friend's kids, thanks to the help of a stranger named "Birdie" who came from the Mojave. Ephfor seems too know him but he doesn't exactly know from where. Birdie told us he wanted to stay at Starlight and settle down due to hearing that the place has a really cool "theater" like wall and a lot of houses to stay at. We agreed to welcome him to our "squad", which is still pretty much nameless.

Anyhow, Tori and Ephfor stayed at Starlight to help out in rebuilding the place. She also started her own squad called "The Vault Dwellers", where she funnily made a squad emblem and flag that looks like her. Ephfor and Lara agreed to joined her squad and told me aggressively that Starlight will be their base of operations. We also heard from a group of volunteer Minutemen from Tenpines who passed by that Sturges wanted to tell me personally that a "Comms" radio has successfully been put in Sanctuary and we now have the means to broadcast to the Commonwealth and also communicate with each other through radio frequency. Currently, it's been proven useful. 

Meanwhile, Preston and Birdie agreed to help me continue my journey to Diamond City, hoping we can figure out where my son is. The journey's hard but we'll take this day by day. General out.
